Growing up on the Jersey Shore, Bill Scharfenberg knew at a young age that he was interested in home construction.  He pursued other educational interests, eventually becoming an attorney, but knew that construction had to be a part of his life.

In 2000, Bill bought a large piece of property in Belmar, subdivided it, put up two modular homes and sold them.  He was hooked.  He rebuilt a riverfront home that would become his own and Beacon Homes was in business.  What started as a hobby had become the fulfilment of a dream.  Today, Beacon Homes is still a small, custom builder doing business only in Ocean and Southern Monmouth counties.  With only a handful of projects underway at one time, your home will get the detailed attention it deserves.
